Suggest some good free multiplayer games.

So I'm getting kind of bored of JUST playing LoL and the odd bit of Spiral Knights and I've quit WoW until the next expansion (Yeah I know it's not free, but it's the not playing it part that's important)
Can anybody suggest, any GOOD free to play multiplayer games?

I don't care what genre it is, as long as it isn't like, puzzle or something crap like that. Not that I don't like a good puzzle game, it's just, yeah you get what I mean.

    Hmmm WORLD of warcraft has a free trial I'd give that a god. Track mania is a fun game I play when I'm bored you can find that on steam. WOrld of tanks is free. Team foretress 2 is free. Guild wars 2 is coming out soon its gonna be 50 bucks but no monthly fee so its gonna be a great game.

    i know its not exactly free per se, but I always enjoyed going back to diablo ii after I quit playing wow. Nothing else really filled the void for me

    Magicka is on Steam and is only $10! That has 4 player MP and is great fun, I play with my friends all the time. Worth it imo!
